Get your own free Franchise Tree: Art by Bruce Burton

Do you own an offline retail or service business that receives steady traffic? If so, you may be eligible to receive your very own Franchise Tree, art by Bruce Burton absolutely free. Read on for more details:

When I first launched Franchisetrees.com with Bruce Burton I mistakenly firgured that the masses would automatically wind up on website and place orders. Boy was I wrong. Instead, our website has been idle and has seen only a couple hundred visitors since it launched officially last July. As a result, I have started to increase my marketing efforts and am now blogging and linking and doing whatever I can to organically drive people to the website.

Founded in 2007, Franchise Trees, Inc. is the official online storefront for artwork by my new business partner, Evanston based artist Bruce Burton. Since 1979 Burton has been making Family Trees of a variety of music and sport genres from the Chicago White Sox to British Rock. His unique style of artwork engages words, images and landscapes into a collage that appears (from afar) as a Pine Tree. Bruce's style engages the viewer into the subject and really provokes thought and excitment, especially for fans of each subject.

I first met Burton in 1993 when he was my coach on New Trier's freshman swim team. It wasn't until my senior year that I realized Bruce was the one that made the Cubs Tree that I kept staring at in the bathroom at Bones in Lincolnwood as a child. Its nice to know that we are now business partners as of this past July and plan on working together to create new art and continue selling Burton's existing pieces, some of which of available online at franchisetrees.com.

Today I finally realized that I need to put the work up in public places in order and drive people to the website. Its a longshot, but I figure if 1% of the people who view each Burton Tree like it enough to buy one for themselves or others, I should be able to get some decent traffic to the site. I've realized that in order to understand and appreciate each piece you really just need to see one live and hopefully framed. Bruce is an extremely talented artist and I couldn't ask for anything more of a business partner. He has always been a coach for me, as a swimmer, and now as an entrepeneur.

If your business would like to post a framed Burton Tree, you simply need to pay the print (in whatever form) take a picture of its placement in your business and mail it back with a business card or a letter on company stationary asking for a refund--the only catch is that you are required to post an 8.5 x 11" informational sheet with a bio of Bruce and a listing of current works and where to buy them.

Go to franchisetrees.com and get all of Bruce Burton's art from Franchise Trees, Inc.
